People see money as an asset. God views money quite differently. He sees it as a barometer. How we manage our money reflects our values, motives, and even our faith. When Jesus wanted to move people towards Lordship, He would sometimes challenge them in the realm of money and possessions.
Our tithe is a statement of unity and shared purpose. By contributing sacrificially, believers demonstrate their commitment to their church’s vision and mission. This shared commitment strengthens the bonds of fellowship and encourages collaboration among believers, which helps create and cultivate a thriving and vibrant church community.
God is challenging us to test Him! It’s, once again a radical challenge to trust that God will take care of us, but even more than that, He’ll will open the heaven and bless us in return. What are the blessings without measure, though? They come from heaven, s the blessings we receive are those things far greater than money or possessions.
